How Does The Ultimate Duo Work?

Microneedling

Using a series of incredibly fine-gauge needles, the microneedling procedure creates a series of “micro-channels” on the surface of your skin. These tiny grooves essentially convince your body that it’s been wounded, which prompts it to send a number of restorative and regenerative compounds to the treatment area. This also spurs the production of collagen and elastin, which work to keep your skin naturally healthy and moisturized.

Radiofrequency

While the microneedling is taking place, the VirtueRF system also delivers radiofrequency energy to specific layers of your skin. This works to encourage your tissues to tighten, resulting in skin that feels firmer and looks more supple and youthful. This part of the procedure also works with the microneedling process to encourage your body’s natural production of increased collagen and elastin for healthy skin.

CoolPeel

Once we’ve completed the Virtue RF microneedling process, we’ll include the CoolPeel CO2 laser resurfacing treatment. Using a non-surgical method, highly advanced laser energy will gently and safely remove the topmost layer of your skin, getting rid of dead skin cells and taking other dirt and debris along with it. The entire procedure takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your treatment area.

Your Recovery and Results

Since no two patients are the same, no two Ultimate Duo procedures are identical. Most patients don’t experience much of a recovery period beyond some redness and tenderness in the treatment area, somewhat similar to a sunburn.
